Behind every COCOROCO creation, there’s a story. And this one, in particular, comes from the purest love I’ve ever known: the love I shared with BETAMECHE my cat, my companion, and the silent soul behind every piece in this brand.

He was so much more than a pet. He was my assistant, my daily inspiration, and without a doubt, the head of quality control for everything coming out of the workshop. Betta was there for every step, every sketch, every creative night.

When he passed, something deep within me broke. The brand, which had always been a reflection of who I am, lost its light for a while. But that immense love and the huge emptiness he left, led me to create PAWSITIVE. A project born from grief, but transformed into love, gratitude, and purpose.

To heal, I started writing and illustrating. Every line, every word, was a way to feel him close. And in that process, a powerful question emerged: How can I transform all this love into something that helps others, just like he helped me?

That’s how I found the Fundación Arca de Noé a shelter and sanctuary for elderly dogs who have been forgotten, abandoned, or who simply reached the end of their lives without ever knowing a home. There, Doña Noé cares for them with a heart full of devotion. But she needs support to keep feeding them, providing medical care, and, above all, giving them love.

PAWSITIVE is our way to support her work. And it’s our way of honoring Betameche.
